Do grandparents have a rights over grandchildren

Hi Antony

Thanks gör your question.

Are you talking about contact rights, rights to see your grandchildren?

If so, grandparents do not have an automatic right to contact with their grandchildren.

A grandparent can apply to the court for leave (permission) to apply to the court for a contact order. The court is not under any legal obligation to grant permission but has discretion.

I hope this helps.
