There is no automatic right for grandparents, however, grandparents can apply to the court for a contact order. The court will apply the same rules as they would for a parent and focus on the welfare of the children and the children's best interests. Depending on how old or the maturity of the children, the court can take their wishes into account. I hope that helps. Happy to discuss further.
