Hello and thanks for asking for me.

What is it you would like to know about this today please?
Alex

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

i contacted the court a couple of weeks ago to inquire as to what was happening with my claim. i was informed that the defendant has failed to lodge their defense in time and had now applied to have it reinstated and that i should wait.i've now received notification that the defense has been reinstated and the court changed to Birmingham.

Is there something i can / should be doing?

No, there is nothing you need to do.

You will get a DQ in due course. This is completed then goes for a Judge to set the matter down for trial.

But you dont need to do anything at this stage.

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?

ok, thanks.

I shall continue to wait........

I phone the court every few weeks and they keep saying just wait too. What a slow process and the defendant appears to be doing all he can to make it as long as possible :-(
