Customer Question

If a Government arms length agency (THE DVLA) informs a third party that you are suffering from a medical condition (Progressive retinopathy) that they have previously received letters from medical consultants at the Royal Eye Infirmary and Specialist Diabetic Eye Screen department some 10 months before informing them that their diagnosis, arrived at without examination of the patient, is incorrect, are they guilty of slander. i.e they made up the condition. I did have retinopathy in 1999 but it was successfully treated by laser at that time and is and has been classed medically as STABLE retinopathy for years.
