I am a lobster fisherman ,and another fisherman is stealing lobsters from my pots in the states there has been many prosecutions for the same offence is the law the same here
Expert:  Ash replied 1 year ago.

Yes technically this could be theft. Once the lobsters are in the pots then this could be considered theft.

This is where there is appropriation of property belong to another (lobsters) with a dishonest intention to permanently deprive the owner. This is theft.

So yes, someone could be prosecuted.

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
