Ask a Law Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.
For now please let me know what type of tenancy agreement you have please?
Is it an Assured Shorthold or Lodgers agreement?
Ok. You are entitled to two months notice for an AST. This is under the Housing Act. If you are not given two months notice then you do not have to move out and your landlord is in breach.
So two months notice is what you are entitled to.
Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
