I am due to attend court regarding a disputed credit card

Customer Question

Hello. I am due to attend court regarding a disputed credit card debt. If I lose, am I still able to offer monthly payments as opposed to having to pay the full amount? If so, what is the procedure? Do I ask the judge there and then or do I use form N245 (or something similar) afterwards, to request a variation to the terms once the judgement has been received? Thank you.

Do a simple debit / credit account for the month which shows what comes in and out and what is left.

Take it to court with any docs you have in support.

If you can send it to the other side with your offer.

Best regards

Michael

I should do this during the court hearing if I lose?

Do it before hand so you have it ready in case you lose.
