Gbh section 20 OF61131 can you tell me what category this is

Gbh section 20 OF61131 can you tell me what category this is please
Submitted: 4 months ago.
Category: Law
Expert:  Jo C. replied 4 months ago.

Can you explain your situation a little more?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
My son has been summons for gbh section 20 and it says OF61131 there loads of mitigating circumstances, no previous and good character
Expert:  Jo C. replied 4 months ago.

OF61131 is probably the summons number. It is just a case number.

Expert:  Jo C. replied 4 months ago.

It doesn't indicate a category.

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
How can you find which category it falls under please,
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I have read categories but what I would say was minor injury someone else may call serious
Expert:  Jo C. replied 4 months ago.

Level of injury is generally assessed by judges but I do agree that the sentencing guidelines do allow them to make any decision that they like.

Generally the more transient the injuries the more likely they are to be considered minor.

Cut on head in hair needed staples 3
Expert:  Jo C. replied 4 months ago.

That isn't the worst injury as GBHs go.

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
My son was pushed so pushed back and he fell drunk into road and a car cut his head and the car drove off
Expert:  Jo C. replied 4 months ago.

Do the Crown accept that?
It wouldn't normally lead to a charge if they did.

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
The summons has just come so seeing defence lawyer on Friday, my son was invited in for chat back in February they spoke with him and believed what he said but then this arrived, he does have witness and the blokes Facebook states he was pushed and about the car which I have just found
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
They didn't bother speaking to his witness it does appear to be very one sided
Expert:  Jo C. replied 4 months ago.

I would imagine they are saying he deliberately pushed him into the path of a car. That is the only way this makes sense.

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Ok thank you
Expert:  Jo C. replied 4 months ago.

No problem.

All the best.
