Whether the couple stay together or not or whether they choose together to keep the baby or not or whether the mother-to-be decides to keep the child or not which is ultimately her decision, if a child is produced from the relationship, regardless of the circumstances here, and even if the father didn’t want the child but the mother-to-be nonetheless decided to keep it, then the man has all the financial obligations he would have had if it was a joint decision.
If he doesn’t want to have anything to do with the child, he doesn’t have to do but that does not preclude him from having to pay child maintenance at Child Maintenance Service rates.
