Ask a Law Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you.
Have they been charged please?
Ok. Under the Bail Act there is a presumption for bail. The exceptions are, fail to surrender to custody, commit further offences and interfering with witnesses.
If the court is not satisfied that this would happen then they will be bailed, subject to conditions.
It may be a condition of residence, to report to a police station, tag etc.
But the presumption is for bail to be granted.
I am sorry if this is not the answer you want and certainly not the one I want to give you, but I have a duty to be honest.
Can I clairfy anything for you about this today please?
