My mother was brutally murdered by a 16 year old youth and his friend while in the process of robbing her house on the 31December 2014.They have not been traied yet and both out on bail.Are they entitled bail in a murder case?

Ok. Under the Bail Act there is a presumption for bail. The exceptions are, fail to surrender to custody, commit further offences and interfering with witnesses.

If the court is not satisfied that this would happen then they will be bailed, subject to conditions.

It may be a condition of residence, to report to a police station, tag etc.

But the presumption is for bail to be granted.
