Resolved Question:

I run a cleaning company. I wish to restrict the ability of another cleaning company that we are subcontacting work to from taking clients introduced by us. Would something simple such as them signing this probably be sufficient?
"We agree for a period of 12 months after the date of Termination to not solicit or tout for business from or perform any services which compete with, are similar to or the same as the Services for any person who was introduced as a customer or potential customer by the Business in the twelve month period prior to Termination."
I would define "Termination" as written notification from us by recorded delivery that we are ceasing using their services, "Services" as cleaning and/or ironing services and "the Business" as our company name.
Thanks
Peter

Hello Peter my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.

Does this apply to all business or only with a specified area or areas please?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
It is in a specific geographical area.
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
It is for all cleaning and ironing services introduced by us.

Ok, you need to specify the radius in the clause.

I would also amend slightly to add: Even if the customer or potential customer approaches (x name)

Apart from that seems fine

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
That is fine. Thanks. Peter
