I have a commercial policy with a renewal date of 24th

Customer Question

I have a commercial policy with a renewal date of 24th July'16, however my policy and direct debit information letter arrived on the 29th September'16. The Insurance Company debited my account on the 22nd September'16 of £933.22, and a further premium of £391.98 on the 26th September'16. I should point out my premises were subject of an arson attack 20months ago, with no income coming in from the Loss Adjustor, the last sum paid January'16 due to adjudication. Do the company not have to advise of debits being taken before the due date?
