Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.

It depends on the workload of the Court and Judge.

First the Court staff need to get to it, that can take around a week or so.

Then it needs to be put before a Judge, that can also take a week.

So it can take around 2-4 weeks.

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?

Thank you so much. I now understand re the court & Judge however I have been waiting for over 2 weeks for my solicitor to raise the order to send to court. Part of my question was about the length of time it takes for a solicitor to prepare the order please. Does it take 1 hour, 1 day or as in my case, over 2 weeks? Sincere thanks for your guidance.

The Solicitor should take about an hour, again depending on workload, assuming its not a complication consent order.

Does that clarify?
