Customer Question

Having read the notes regarding damage by tree roots, would spread of many invasive smaller trees coming from roots running under our garden be a reasonable cause for complaint and legal proceedings?
Some of the new growths are 5 feet high and the spread is 20 feet into our garden.
We have asked our neighbour to see for herself but she has replied in writing that she is not prepared to do anything as the cost is too high.
The actual tree is a poplar and has reached approx. 80 feet high.
Thankyou, Myra
