I have a small business and my landlord is trying to charge

Customer Question

I have a small business and my landlord is trying to charge me £1,300 per quarter for electricity I am in one room with two computers, fridge, kettle, microwave and in the winter an oil fired radiator one at night for a few hours.
This has only come to light now as I have to move (they are demolishing the site) and they have presented me with a bill for over £6,000.00 arrears.
I have asked for proof re meter readings and supplier so I can have the meters and wiring checked I am not getting any response, my moving date is the end of this week and I do not know what to do.
