My 21 year old daughter lived with a man for three years.

Hi,
My 21 year old daughter lived with a man for three years. they bought 2 dogs together. They split up last October. My daughter took one of the dogs with her and left the other behind.
Recently my daughters x as been arrested and is being keeper in police custody. It is highly likely that he will go to prison for gah and drug offences.
I would like to know what are my dautgers chances of getting the dog back? Both of their names are ***** ***** dogs pedigree. They bought him whist living together as a couple.
