Every time I try to look at my e-Mails on my Apple iPad a

Resolved Question:

Every time I try to look at my e-Mails on my Apple iPad a notice comes up Cannot get Mail. Connection to the server failed. Please help. Doreen. I can still receive e-mails on my desktop computer to the same address. I have also recently been hacked into on my iPad

Can you tell me the part after the @ sign of your e-mail address?

Okay. Can you tap settings -> mails, contacts & Calendars

KamilAnwar1 :

From Account, choose your Yahoo.co.uk account

KamilAnwar1 :

Then tap Delete at the bottom.

KamilAnwar1 :

Let me know when done.

Customer: OK, done that

Now tap Settings -> Mails, Contacts & Calendars again

KamilAnwar1 :

Then tell me what do you see under Accounts?

Okay. Tap the round button on the iPad

Then tap the Mail icon and tell me if you still get the error

Customer: everything has been deleted except just one small section

Okay. Now tap Settings -> Mails, Contacts & Calendars

Tap Add Account

Select Yahoo

KamilAnwar1 :

Provide the Name, Email, Password, Description.

KamilAnwar1 :

Tap Next, and follow instructions on screen.

KamilAnwar1 :

Once the account is readded, check again.

The best way is to keep a secure password, not based on a dictionary word and keeping the iPad updated with latest Apple's software.
