my ipad and iphone are sync'd with the same email address, yet my ipad calendar has now cleared and I cannot seem to transfer the data from iPhone to ipad. Please help

Go to Settings then iCloud and scroll down to make sure Calendars is turned on (showing green with the button on the right)

On both devices..

Open Calendar and at the bottom touch Calendars

Make sure both devices (mainly the iPad) has the same options checked as the iPhone

All options on the iPad have been lost, only birthday option (factory set) remains.
