No error message when installing driver.
As far as I know, the USB drive on my Mac works - but USB connection doesn't make the new printer show up on the laptop.
Thank you. During the printer driver installation, did it say finish/success, or something similar?Then after installing the printer driver, have you tried this:
- Turn on printer, then connect printer to computer, click on the Apple logo / menu, then click on System Preferences..., then open Print & Scan (or Print & Fax), then click on the + (plus) button at the bottom left, then it should detect your samsung printer, then select / add it, then check printing.Please let me know. Thanks - but 'Add' to Printers just brings up an already installed scanner - nothing else
You're welcome. Can you try connecting the printer to another USB port on the computer, then add?If needed, can you take the USB cable from the scanner, and use it on the printer, then add?
