Resolved Question:

I have just purchased a Libratone Loop. I own an iMac computer, with Airplay and of course wi.fi as well as an iPad mini both of which have the latest updates for their operating system. My principal music source is a Cambridge Audio One dab/vhf radio with which I can use record player etc. Before I set up my new Libratone, I need to know that it will work principally with music from radio and occasionally record player. ***** *****.

Mike the Mac Medic :

It looks like the One only receives Bluetooth signals to play through it's own amp the Loop does the same thing I don't think you can play music from the One to the Loop it does not send. They both have the same basic functionality to receive and play music from your devices neither of them sends from what I see.

Mike the Mac Medic :

I take that back not Airplay they both only have Bluetooth

Mike the Mac Medic :

Without having the devices in front of me it is hard to say I suggest you request that infoirmation here:

Customer:

O.K. & thanks, ***** ***** is not going to solve my problem - I wonder of I should take it back and go for Sonos? I just need to get music from radio to the other side of the room, wirelessly - cannot use wiring due to newly laid carpets!

Mike the Mac Medic :

In that case get one with an adapter basically for devices without Bluetooth

Customer:

Like the idea of an adaptor - any suggestions as to make or availability?

Mike the Mac Medic :

Give me a minute

Customer:

O.K.

Mike the Mac Medic :

Like this that has it's own transmitter:

Customer:

O.K. think I'll go back to Richer Soinds!

Customer:

Mike the Mac Medic :

Customer:

Will do - many thanks

Mike the Mac Medic :

Customer:
