my ipad seems to have frozen and nothing will move or work.

Resolved Question:

my ipad seems to have frozen and nothing will move or work. the only way I can switch it on or off is the button on the rim. Then I get the home page which is totally still and nothing else works at all.

I'm sorry about the issue. Have you tried this: Please press and hold both the Power (On / Off) button and the Home button (which is located right below the screen) together least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears, then wait a bit, then check.
