Resolved Question:

I have to re install Itunes on a Laptop (windows 7) due to an error message.
If I uninstall first, should I copy the Music folder somewhere else on the hardisk in order not to lose my music library?
If so do I simply move the folder back when the new installation has been completed?
many thanks in advance
Andrew

there is no need, uninstalling itunes will not touch your music folder at all.
Just uninstall iTunes, reuinstall and the music will still be there
