There is no error or message but yes I can access my google mail at the gmail.com website.

how can I access google mail from my iMac mail application it just shows a ~ at present

In the Mail app, click on Mail menu at the top, then click on the Quit option, then re-open Mail app, does it show anything?

Can you please download / run the join.me application from the website https://secure.join.me/Download.aspx?webDownload=true I've provided previously, then tell me the 9-digit number in it, so I can connect remotely to your computer and fix?

I'm sorry, somehow it does not let me connect with the join.me application on your computer. Can you try another remote program:

  1. Please click on the website below:
    http://connect.teamviewer.com
  2. Then download / run the file called TeamViewerQS...
  3. Then tell me the ID and password ***** will provide in the TeamViewer program.
  4. Do not close the TeamViewer program.

It looks like you are not there. When you are available, please reply back to continue. And/or please try the following:

- In the Mail app, click on Mail menu at the top, then click on the Quit option, then re-open Mail app, does it show anything?

- If that does not work, in the Mail app, click on the Mail menu at the top, then click on Preferences
, then click on the Accounts tab at the top
, then select your google / gmail account, then click on the - (minus) icon at the bottom left and confirm to remove it for now
, then click on the + (plus) icon at the bottom left and add back your google / gmail account
, then see if it works.

If needed, make sure POP and IMAP are enabled at the website below:

If needed, please try the email application Thunderbird:
