Trying to Set up new I.pad 4 gold it is showing message "update

Trying to Set up new I.pad 4 gold it is showing message "update completed successfully, just a few more steps - continue-slide to upgrade" - but the screen freezes at that point. Tried to reboot but now in a circle of repeating the same instruction. what I can I try next.

First we can reset your iPad and see if it works or not. Press and hold down the Power button and Home button at the same time until it shows the Apple logo.
