My macbook air randomly blackscreens and then ten seconds later switches itself off. When it black screens there is either an orange or a green thin trip of flickering colour on the left hand side of the screen. Help!

Hi there,You can try a couple of things to fix this yourself, but they may not work.First try resetting your NVRAM, then try resetting the SMC.Reset NVRAM: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204063reset the SMC: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201295If that doesn't work, then you will need to take or send it to Apple so that they can run their diagnostic equipment on the Macbook and determine what is wrong with it (it is likely that the motherboard is faulty).Pete.
