replaced fuel pump in my mazda(NNN) NNN-NNNNw. the new pump is

Resolved Question:

replaced fuel pump in my mazda(NNN) NNN-NNNNw. the new pump is ok but engine will turn over
but not run.if the problem is the immobilier how can I put it wright?

Did you know the fuel pump was bad, or were you replacing it to correct this issue?

The rac were called when the car stopped and would not start they said


it was a fuel problem.the car was recovered to home.We then replaced


the pump and the car will not start same problem.the new pump works

The issue that you are describing is consistent with a failed crankshaft position sensor and is very common on this vehicle and keeps the fuel pump from working.

No this is held on by one bolt and one electrically connector and located near the crankshaft pulley.
