Hi im derry, i run my own workshop and currently have a 2006 mazda 5 2l desiel in with oil leak, appears to be coming from to much crank presure i have check all hoses, dpf and egr valve and still cant find whats the cause, any help would be appriciated, from a very frustrated mechanic

Do a engine cylinder compression test, see these engine eat piston rings due to cheap supermarket engine oil .

What's the engine mileage ,if high probably rings.

But as you tested for the most common issue this is what i thinjk should be checked .

Very common on this engine is sized turbo double check this first.

Chedck crankcase ventilation system is okay .
