I have a Mazda 6TS2 automatic which I purchased new in November

I have a Mazda 6TS2 automatic which I purchased new in November 2009.
The alarm system goes off on it's own even when the car is left unlocked.
Usually goes off a couple of consecutive times then stops.
Unfortunately during the night and upsetting the street!
Can I isolate the alarm or is there an answer?

This is a very well known issue that many mazda 6 owners are having .
Normally a hood switch , but a diagnostic scan of the system (you will need a dealer level tool ) will show you which switch is causing you this issue , will also show you the last 5 sensors that set off the alarm.
If no codes,? a another known issue is a bad battery check the battery voltage if it has only 12 - 12.2 volt Then replace the battery.

Thank you for your help I will get it checked out at the next service in November as I do not have the right tools.
Also I have been told to just use the key in the drivers door to open and close and this seems to working for the last three days.Great service.RegardsBob Heaton
