My husband is 66yrs Diabetic, hypertension, has Bowans skin cancers 82klo. Ultrasound results...the right lobe in th isthmus appears diffusely enlarged measuring 12mls in volume measuring 10mm in size.several poorly defined nodules are demonstrated with largest lying ln the right lobe, no other soft tissue masses are seen Cmment: there is a heterogeneous and diffusely enlarged isthmus and right lobe of the thyroid gland with a relatively small left lobe. thank you for taking the time to read this request regarding my husband

HelloYou are talking about the thyroid.The nodules are not well defined.The endocrinologist should now to a skinny needle biopsy for the lab.Most all nodules are benign.He also needs thyroid function tests...a blood test.good luck
