Hello from JA
I am doctor Thomas and I will be glad to help you today. I am board certified in internal medicine and integrative medicine, so it is likely I can cover almost any question you have.
I will either ask you a question or give you an initial answer. If you need to know more, use reply to expert. Do not rate and just go away.
Do not rate a 1 or 2 rating as that is a negative. So let’s get started.
I don't know exactly what protein has been measured in your urine.
If this was on a dipstick you need a 24 hour urine to see if this is significant over 24 hours.
You need to see a nephrologist...kidney specialist if the 24 hour protein is abnormal, or if the serum creatinine is high, both are serious.
In most cases ACE inhibitor medications and a low protein diet are used.
OK. If you have further questions or details, use reply to expert.
Otherwise please choose a 3, 4 or 5 rating [smiley face or accept]. But, still come back if you need to…think of something later, etc. Bonuses are appreciated. Your satisfaction is my goal, along with the best information. Remember, answers do not substitute for a doctor’s visit.
