Dr Wajid :

Hi

Dr Wajid :

Welcome to ur site

Dr Wajid :

Welcome to our site

Dr Wajid :

I would like to help you with your querry

Dr Wajid :
  • Eat smaller, more frequent meals, instead of larger meals
  • Don't eat for at least two hours before bedtime
  • Sit up for at least one hour after eating
  • Don't bend over right after eating
  • Avoid foods that can trigger heartburn (acid reflux) symptoms
  • Avoid alcohol
Dr Wajid :

These simple measures should help prevent aggravating your symptoms

Dr Wajid :

And here is a list of dietary items that will help you relieve the pain during the symptoms

Dr Wajid :
  • Bananas and apples
  • Green beans, peas, carrots, and broccoli
  • Grains, like cereals (bran and oatmeal), bread, rice, pasta, and crackers
  • Low-fat or skim milk and low-fat yogurtEgg whites and egg substitutes
  • Fat-free cheeses, cream cheese, and fat-free sour cream
  • Lean meat, chicken, and fish
  • Water
  • Pretzels, graham crackers, rice cakes, and baked potato chips
  • Low-fat sweets (no chocolate or mint)
Dr Wajid :

But in addition to diet I would suggest you continue using Lansoprazole but avoid taking pain killers which actually worsen your symptoms

Dr Wajid :

Also I would recommend that you use a pro kinetic drug such as Domeperidone, Itopride, Levosulpride or Mebeverine. These drugs increase the motility in the stomach thus clearing excess of acid early reducing the burning symptoms.

Dr Wajid :

I hope I have been helpful and clear with my response

Dr Wajid :

Let me know if you need any further information

Dr Wajid :

Also do leave a positive feedback if you feel satisfied with my response

Dr Wajid :

Thank you
