Ive been losing energy and getting breathless over the last

Customer Question

I've been losing energy and getting breathless over the last year especially, I put it down to just being under stress. However, I've had ongoing Palpations for laughing,walking/talking well even while resting at the end of the day. I do have anxiety & depression, but i've felt that's been as stable as can be. what can I do? the doctor stopped sertraline (6 weeks) after taking it since I caught a virus (I think) and another Dr put me on 2mg x 3 a day for 5 days to calm my panic attacks. I'm now on nothing & still have continuous palpatations. What can you recommend for me? I feel so weak & have my lovely children to care for.

Hello from JA
Palpitations have you be evaluated.
First you need an EKG
Then if that is normal a 24 or 48 hour holter monitor to look at heart rhythm.
You need thyroid studies, a blood test, to rule out thyroid imbalance.

I would not wait no this but seek an exam now.
