Thanks for your question.
I am sorry to hear about your distress.
Did you have any cystoscopy or bladder scan?
Have you seen any urologist yet?
was it a CT scan?
did they put any camera inside the bladder?
currently what symptoms do you have exactly?
and what medications you are taking currently?
Unfortunately we do not have phone service.
We can continue on the chat if you wish.
Your symptoms can be due to the very sensitive nerves in the bladder
This is also known as painful bladder syndrone or interstitial cystitis.
ok these medications help with the frequency but not with the pain or discomfort.
We recommend using Pentosan sulfate.
The brand name is Elmiron.
This helps to clam down the inflammation inside the bladder ad the nerves.
Normal bladder scan rule out any possibility of cancer.
However, bacterial presence can trigger these symptoms.
Besides Elmiron, amitriptylline is another medication that is commonly used successfully to manage painful bladder syndrome.
This a complex condition to treat but successful treatment is possible with an experienced urologist.
However, I will suggest you to discuss these two medications with your doctor and you will definitely see improve in your symptoms within 2 weeks.
