my son has night sweat and tiredness. He has type 2 diabetes. Is this a symtom he should be worried about. If so, what can he do about it to prevent it.

off and on for 1 year. diet only

OK--here are my thoughts--low thyroid, anemia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and with the night sweats, possibly lymphoma. I would run a battery of tests to get at the exact cause
