hello have you been prescribed any medicines for this?
i am an ENT specialist and deal with BPPV all the time
adaptation exercises are the best for this
its been going on for about 2 weeks now, is this something that i'm going to have to live with?
no not really
bppv fortunately is a self limiting disease
should i go back to my doctor if it goes on for much longer. also, can I go to a fitness class and have neck massage ok?
at the same time, i would have given a prescription for betahistine
this works very well along with the exercises to control the symptoms till the exercises kick in, so to say
ok, well can see how it goes. what is betahistine for?
i would suggest you go back to your doctor and ask for a prescription for betahistine or any other antivertiginous drug
ok thanks for help
glad to help

and for now, do not go for exercise or neck massage, they can cause you harm
instead continue with the adaptation exercises and also ask your doctor for a prescription for betahistine
take care - this should help you recover from this
