911DOC :

Do you mean he took a blow to the groin?

911DOC :

how was he hurt?

911DOC :

and how long ago was that?

911DOC :

are you there?

911DOC :

did you see my question?

Customer:

he hit it on a desk at school about six hrs ago.

911DOC :

how is it that it is bleeding?

911DOC :

that kind of injury should give a bruise... can you tell me exactly where the bleeding is? is the bleeding in or around the penis or scrotum?

Customer:

it just bleed a little after the intial blow

911DOC :

where is the bleeding?'

911DOC :

what part of his body?

Customer:

i am not seein any bruising and i wasnt there so i cant tell he doesnt know either

911DOC :

i'm confused... i am sorry... you said he was bleeding from a wound he sustained at school. where is the bleeding?

Customer:

his groin n now is experiencing burning when urinating

Customer:

he hit his groin on a desk

911DOC :

fair enough...

911DOC :

does he have any blood in the urine that he can see or that you can see?

Customer:

no there isnt any in his urine

911DOC :

okay, good

911DOC :

so the question that is of concern is if the blow he took to his groin had caused any damage to the urinary tract

911DOC :

very hard to see how the injury he had and some burning with urination are related

911DOC :

in fact

911DOC :

i do not think they are related at all

911DOC :

burning with urination is a sign of irriation of the urethera at or near the tip of the penis

Customer:

yes and does it warrent me taking him.to a physician

911DOC :

injuries like you described do not cause this

911DOC :

great question

911DOC :

i think that if this is still present or worse in the morning that it would be a reasonable thing to do

911DOC :

do you have good access to a physician for your son?

911DOC :

are you there?

Customer:

ok thank you

911DOC :

you are most welcome

911DOC :

again

911DOC :

doesnt' sound like there is much to the burning on urination

911DOC :

hard to put it with the injury

911DOC :

still, if persistent or worse tomorrow worth seeing his physician

911DOC :

do you have any final questions for me?

Customer:

no thats it

911DOC :

okay great.
