I have had a pain in my right groin side for a few weeks now

Dr.Saleem :

Hi

Dr.Saleem :

Welcome to JA

Dr.Saleem :

Thanks for the question..

Dr.Saleem :

Plz enter the chat...

Dr.Saleem :

How long do you have this pain?

Dr.Saleem :

What are the triggering and relieving factors?

Customer:

all day but it is not really bad but enough to be noticed

Dr.Saleem :

does it come with walking or moving?

Customer:

no sometimes it gets worse when I open my bladder

Dr.Saleem :

Ok is there any swelling or redness in the area?

Customer:

no

Dr.Saleem :

Well the pain in groin without any obvious swelling or redness can likely be due to pulled muscles, tendons

Dr.Saleem :

or the inflammation of the coverings of the hip joint

Dr.Saleem :

or bursitis

Dr.Saleem :

a typical posture aggravates such pain and usually due to stressing or overusing muscles

Customer:

sometimes just curling up helps

Dr.Saleem :

So Non steroidal antiinflammatory drugs along with gentle stretching excercises can help relieve

Customer:

could you suggest something for an asthmatic

Dr.Saleem :

Yes as i said since it is caused by muscle or tendon strains so posture which eases the muscle must relieve the pain

Dr.Saleem :

You want me to suggest for asthma or pain?

Customer:

pain would it be paracetamol

Dr.Saleem :

Yes paracetamol, panadol can help

Customer:

thank you

Dr.Saleem :

You are welcome
