Mysticdoc :

How big is the lump?

Mysticdoc :

Is it painful?

Mysticdoc :

And do you mean inside the throat?

Customer:

it is about size of pea not painful and has been there for about 6-8 months. I can see it when open my mouth right at the back in the middle

Mysticdoc :

Is it attached to the tonsil?

Mysticdoc :

Or is it attached to the back of the tongue?

Customer:

no

Mysticdoc :

so you mrant this is notice at the back of the wall?

Mysticdoc :

So you mean at the back of the wall?

Customer:

yes that is correct

Mysticdoc :

ok

Mysticdoc :

do you smoke cigarettes?

Customer:

given up at the beginning of the year

Mysticdoc :

do you have any heart burn or acid reflux?

Customer:

Customer:

acid reflux sometimes when i run

Mysticdoc :

Thanks a lot --very helpful.

Mysticdoc :

This is likely a fibrous tissue cyst.

Mysticdoc :

probably from he smoking that particular area was hurt.

Mysticdoc :

The tissue healed but formed more scar tissues.

Mysticdoc :

This resulted in the lump.

Mysticdoc :

This is not a cancerous lump.

Mysticdoc :

Cancerous lump grows fast, involves lymph nodes, and look more ugly ( ulcerated for example).

Mysticdoc :

Since this is not painful, this is not infected either.

Customer:

is there any action needed

Mysticdoc :

THis will remain same for long time

Mysticdoc :

no action is needed.

Mysticdoc :

You can get this checked by your GP.

Mysticdoc :

But this is not concerning.

Customer:

Thank you very much for your advice.
