How big is the lump?

it is about size of pea not painful and has been there for about 6-8 months. I can see it when open my mouth right at the back in the middle

This is likely a fibrous tissue cyst.
probably from he smoking that particular area was hurt.
The tissue healed but formed more scar tissues.
This resulted in the lump.
This is not a cancerous lump.
Cancerous lump grows fast, involves lymph nodes, and look more ugly ( ulcerated for example).
Since this is not painful, this is not infected either.
is there any action needed
THis will remain same for long time
no action is needed.
You can get this checked by your GP.
But this is not concerning.
