It is a good idea to have a urologist take a look at your case to try and figure out why you are having recurring urinary tract infections

Sometimes this requires some additional testing

In order to prevent, I would try pure cranberry extract

You can take liquid or pills

The dose depends on the form you take.

I think it is a urinary obstruction

You might have a urethral problem that is causing obstruction and urinary retention
