Dear customer,
Thank you for providing quick additional info.

The symptoms you are having can be due to a disorder called dysphagia.Difficulty in swallowing is also called dysphagia. This can be due to various causes like:

-Achlasia (When your lower esophageal muscle (sphincter) doesn't relax properly to let food enter your stomach),

-Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)(damage to esophageal tissues from stomach acid backing up (refluxing) into your esophagus (acid reflux),

-Diffuse spasm.

You need tests like Upper endoscopy,Esophageal muscle test (manometry),Barium X-rays.

If the cause of GERD is confirmed, then your doctor may prescribe you medications like H-2-receptor blockers,Antacids that neutralize stomach acid,Pro-motility drugs, medications to reduce acid production, Foam barriers ( that are composed of an antacid and a foaming agent). These are prescription medications.

So I advice you to make an early appointment with your doctor to have these tests done so as confirm the exact diagnosis & then treatment will be done accordingly.

Hope this helped.

My goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have gotten anything less, please reply back, I am happy to address follow-up questions.

Thank you

Kind Regards,
Dr. Robert
