This bleeding can be vaginal.
In that case, this can be caused by the hormonal imbalance commonly.
Other possibilities include given the left sided stomach pain:
1. Uterine fibroid --benign tumors
2. Uterine lining thickening ( endometrial hyperplasia)
3. Ovarian cyst
4. Cervical polyps
Besides these possibilities, bladder infection also can cause blood in the urine.
Precancerous lesions in the bladder, kidney stones are other possibilities.
Hence, you need to see your doctor for further evaluation.
A CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis with contras should be considered to establish the diagnosis.
Pelvic ultrasound also is another good option.
