This is Dr. David
you could be having overactive bladder or bladder muscle wall spasms causing your symptoms.
or it could be something like interstitial cystitis
there are medications to help with overactive bladder where the muscles of the wall of the bladder are too overactive and squeeze too frequently to make you urinate frequently.
like solifenacin (Vesicare)
or tolterodine (Detrol)
or oxybutynin (Ditropan)
all of these might help your symptoms
you should consult with a urologist specialist and see if you need to get a cystoscopy scope to look inside of your bladder to look for signs of inflammation
let me know if you have other questions
if you have pain in your lower pelvis and abdomen, you might need a CT scan of your abdomen and pelvis as well to look for bowel inflammation or small kidney stones
sorry for the delay.
an ultrasound would not show overactive bladder.
overactive bladder muscles is a diagnosis made by your symptoms and by ruling out other inflammatory causes of your bladder by cystoscopy
a CT scan of the bladder and kidneys can look for small kidney stones.
but I think you have an overactive bladder problem.
