I Got Diagnosed with polycycstic ovaries just over 2 months

Customer Question

I Got Diagnosed with polycycstic ovaries just over 2 months ago. It all started 2 months ago, when i woke up in the morning and woke up in a pool of blood. the doctors passed it, but still did an internal ultrasound, she said it was poycycstic ovaries. Ive now had no periods since then, but nausea/ sickness, swallen breast and excessive bloating. few signs that would indicate pregnancy, but im getting negative tests. What Else Could It be?

JACUSTOMER-rjccwsnc- :

looked it up, and its say about blood tests, if thats the case, no ive had no blood tests done

Mysticdoc :

ok

Mysticdoc :

that is important.

Mysticdoc :

thyroid gland problem can cause these symptoms commonly.

JACUSTOMER-rjccwsnc- :

do you think there is any chance that it could be pregnancy?

Mysticdoc :

Unlikely.

Mysticdoc :

However a blood pregnancy test can be ordered.

Mysticdoc :

Ultrasound also should have picked it up.

Mysticdoc :

I will suggest you to get tested for thyroid gland disorder with serum TSH and free T4 levels.

Mysticdoc :

Polycystic ovarian disease is best treated with birth control pills to regulate your periods and treat other symptoms.

Mysticdoc :

If your thyroid tests are normal, this is your next step.
