My 77 year old friend had a fall in her garden and fractured

Customer Question

My 77 year old friend had a fall in her garden and fractured her pelvis 13+ weeks ago. She is told that the fracture has healed but she is in constant pain. She has not been given any physio since the week she came home from hospital. What are the expectations regarding recovery and what exercises should she be doing to help this along. She can manage her stairs and potter in her garden. Should she be walking further than she is currently doing (her family seems to think that she should be taking long walks but how can she when it causes such pain). Her Doctor tells her to keep up the physio but she has no contact with her so called physiotherapist. Please advise. Thank you.
