My wife is 81 and last saturday she noticed a slight lump

Customer Question

My wife is 81 and last saturday she noticed a slight lump on the back of her right thigh, when she checked she found a big bruise forming and it was getting very painful, I took her to A&E and they kept her in hospital for 5 days, she had an Ultra scan and it was normal but over the five daysthe leg swole up and still stayed badly bruised.
Can you please diagnose ?
