Dr. David :

This is Dr. David

Dr. David :

it could be a fissure or fistula.

Dr. David :

where are these areas of split skin on your bum? near the anus? or further back ?

JACUSTOMER-fnwqwjb6- :

one is near the bum hole and the other is a little further up

Dr. David :

it could be a perianal fissure or fistula.

Dr. David :

you should ask to see as surgeon to explore the area to see if you have an anal fissure.

Dr. David :

you need stool softeners to help soften your stools

Dr. David :

and you need to increase the protein intake and vitamin C in take to help with healing.

JACUSTOMER-fnwqwjb6- :

so do I have to be refered through my GP

Dr. David :

yes, in the UK, you have to have your GP refer you to a surgeon

Dr. David :

to evaluate your anal ulcer area.
