Hello,

Welcome to Justanswer

Before I may be able to help you understand the situation and find the best plan of action i would need some additional information

1. Are you diagnosed with any medical conditions? if yes what medications are you on for them?

2. Has this started recently or you have always had this issue?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

It started last six months

Expert:  Dr Mask replied 3 years ago.
Thank you for the additional information and for your patience

So this issue was not there prior to 6 months.

1. Could you please tell if this (Early ejaculation) also happens when you masturbate?

2. Do you have any issues with maintaining the erection?

3. Have you started the use of any medication recently ? or do you use any recreational drugs ?

4. Did this problem develop gradually or suddenly?

5. Does this happen every time?

6. Is this issue limited to this partner?

7. Have you been examined or tested by a doctor?

Thank you for your patience :)

Although in majority of the cases the cause for pre-mature ejaculation is psychological and in these cases psychological counselling and certain measures may help with the problem.

These include sexual therapy (Masturbating 1 or 2 hours before the act)or for some time avoiding the penetration during sex and focussing more on foreplay and the squeeze technique (You can find it here in detail http://health.india.com/sexual-health/squeeze-technique-to-beat-premature-ejaculation-sex-tip-of-the-day/).

For some people where these two are not helpful enough certain medications may be used. These belong to the SSRI (Selective Serotonin Re-uptake inhibitors) like Sertraline or one from the tricyclic antidepressant group like clomipramine. However these two are prescription medication and you would need your doctor to prescribe them for you. These may be taken a few hours prior to the act.

Some tests may also be ordered by your doctor however these seem not necessary in your case since you do not have the issue of erection.

I hope this helped you understand the situation and the optimal plan of action required:)
