I have a pain in my left hand corner of my stomach just above

I have a pain in my left hand corner of my stomach just above my groin area,
It only sems to hurt with excersion ie lifting or sudden movement.
When I rest the pain seems to go away and come back when I do any physical exercise. When at rest pain is minimal. What cold this be ?
