Hi--did you have a urinalysis? Were these urine pregnancy tests and was any of them confirmed by your doctor?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
They where all urine tests and yes confirmed by the hospital! Does this cost £26 for every answer?
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 3 years ago.
There;s no cost and only the one cost until I post an answer and you rate my service to you. I just need all the information I can get first. So you didn't have a blood HCG level checked as yet? What exactly did the doctors say and, again, did you have a urinalysis done?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
No i have not had an uninalysis done or a blood HCG! And the doctor said to go home and rest until I go for a scan on Friday!

OK Kimberly. Of course you must be worried as to whether you had a miscarriage and at this point I don't think you did. A little spotting is normal in early pregnancy. If the blood was actually in your urine that wouldn't indicate a miscarriage at all but maybe a bladder infection. Just because you had a negative urine test wouldn't mean a miscarriage since even if you had had one, it would be too early for the HCG level to have fallen to were the test would be negative. You do need the urinalysis to see if you need antibiotics and of course you need the ultrasound but you also need a blood HCG level. I really think you don't need to worry about a miscarriage--that one test may have just been a false negative
