I am reading your question
Basically, if you would like a second opinion after seeing a consultant - like your urologist, you will need to go back to your GP and ask them to refer you again. After your GP agrees to refer you to a new urologist, the urologist will be inform that this is your second opinion.
And all relevent tests and exams will be sent to them
If you like the new urologist and if you want to be treated by the new urologist, this will need to be arranged with them
But your GP need to be involved.
What if my GP will think I don't need the change
Then you can change GPs
Anyone can change their GP without giving a reason.
Call the surgery you want to change to, and ask to register as a patient with them
And then they can do the referral for you
I really need to do it fast as I'm suffering for 3 weeks
There is always a way to make it happen
go through your GP
YOu are also entitled to a second opinion as mention above
you can tell them you want a second opinion (this would be faster)
and if you prefer the new doctor to handle your case, then you can do so
ok,so this is the fastest way?
the fastest fastest way is private
I would like to complain about the urologist's work, how can I do it?
How much is the private doctor appointment?
Here is the link:
It will be able £150
It's too expensive for me.
you are welcome
I hope that I provided you with excellent service? :-)?
It's long way to do it by nhs,but still I have to do it.
